Required Uniforms, Equipment and Weapons

Uniform:

 

-M43 Tunic (Pocketless tunics only, pocketed version is acceptable upon the condition you will obtain a pocketless version within 1 year of membership).

 

-M35/M43 trousers


-Pilotka with Subdued Green star 

 

-Russian Sapogi or Low boots with puttees. British or American low boots are acceptable as lend lease.

 

Equipment:

 

-M-40 helmet

 

-Canteen and cover (Wartime canteens are desired but postwar DDR are acceptable as well. Glass canteens are permitted as well. All must have a proper original/reproduction cover).

 

-Leather Belt w/Roller buckle, single claw

 

-Ammo pouches depending on weapon (Kirza Mosin Nagant pouches are NOT  AND WILL NEVER BE PERMITTED).

 

-Myeshok Rucksack (Post-war converted are Acceptable)

 

-Mess kit/pot


-Fork/spoon/knife


-Enamel cup/aluminum cup

 

-Plash Palatka 

 

-Gasmask bag

 

Winter Equipment:


-Shinel (Overcoat)**


-Padded Winter Jacket/Pants (Telogreika)

 

-Ushanka (w/Red or Subdued green star)

 

-Gloves


-Balaclava**


-Snow Camo Suit

 

-Valenki felt boots (Used for deep snow and freezing temperatures).

 

 

Other Equipment:

 

 

-Shovel w/Shovel carrier


-Grenade Pouch**


-Personal items


-Camoflauge uniform **


-NR-40 fighting knife** 

 

Captured German winter gloves/scarves, boots, toiletries are permitted for mid to late war events.

 

 

Weapons:

 

Required for each member to own one of the listed below: Mosin Nagant M91/30, Mosin Nagant M38 and SVT 40

 

Secondary weapons are listed below: SMG: PPD-40, PPSH-41, PPS-43, Suomi M31


LMG: DP-28, SG-43, Maxim Machine gun

 

 

German Captured weapons are permitted for certain events but must be cleared for use by the unit commander(s).
